Ski Dubai, at UAE's Mall of the Emirates, Unveils Plan for New Penguin Attraction

Ski Dubai has announced that it is to become home to a colony of penguins.

The birds will be part of a new attraction at the indoor centre called ‘Snow Penguins at Ski Dubai’.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ski Dubai said: "Visitors will soon have a rare opportunity to interact with these remarkable birds in a one-of-a-kind intimate encounter and learn about their unique traits and habits."

It added: "Part of a multi-generation breeding programme at Sea World, the snow penguins… will live in a specially created environment, which mirrors the Antarctic."
